Recommendations
The spring and the beginning of fall is a great time to visit Chefchaouen. In the summer, take proper precautions to avoid spending too much time in direct sunlight and make sure to wear sunglasses and/or a hat in the daytime. It’s coldest during the end of fall and winter, especially at night, so take along a jacket. This is also when there is a greater possibility of rain (about 30%), so it’s smart to pack a small umbrella as well. It’s also recomendable to wear rubber soled shoes in case of rain, to avoid slipping while walking through the stairways in the medina of Chefchaouen.
