  * The months of July, August, and September are the hottest times in the Ouarzazate region. It is not recommended to stay in a place without electricity like Kasbah Tebi. Instead, we offer accommodation at Ksar Ighnda in the new town of Ait Ben Haddou, which is of a higher category, for an additional charge of 50 euros per person.
  Triple rooms are usually double rooms with an extra bed (cot).
  Accommodations specifically mentioned except in exceptional cases where we will stay in similar accommodations.
  Prices are valid until 31 December 2024.

• Observations

  Tents are equipped with air conditioning, but they may become unusable during inclement weather, particularly in the case of sandstorms.
  Kasbah Tebi remains closed in August for maintenance work.

Day 1
Marrakech · Ouarzazate · Dadès Gorges

Pick up at your accommodations in Marrakech at 8:00 AM and head to the Dades Gorges. We first cross the Atlas Mountains to reach Ouarzazate, where we will see the exterior of the Kasbah of Taourit, former residence of one of the most powerful men in the region.

Next, we explore the patchwork of villages, gardens and olive groves around the Skoura Palm Grove. Here we visit the well-preserved Kasbah Amridil, where ancient tools of daily life dating back hundreds of centuries are on display.

Then, we head to the Dades Gorges, a group of rugged rock formations and ravines.

Arrival at our accommodations and check-in. Dinner.

Day 2
Dades Gorges · Erfoud · Erg Chebbi

Breakfast and outing to the desert of Erg Chebbi. On the way we pass by the ruggedly beautiful landscapes of the Palm Grove and the Todra Gorges, a favorite of rock climbers.

Next, we arrive at Erfoud, and if time permits, we enjoy a beautiful sunset in the high desert. Head to Merzouga.

Camel ride to the air-conditioned tent camp, where our luggage has been transported in a 4×4 vehicle. We enjoy a starry night and an authentic Berber dinner.

Day 3
Merzouga · Aït Ben Haddou

Early risers can enjoy the desert sunrise. After breakfast we head back to the vehicle.

During the route we cross the 200-kilometer-long Draa Valley, known for its date landscape.

Later we visit Aït Ben Haddou, a World Heritage site and one of the best ksars because of its exceptional state of conservation and being a setting for famous films (Gladiator, The Mummy and Babel among others).

Arrival at our accommodations. Dinner.

Day 4
Aït Ben Haddou · Marrakech

Breakfast. Departure to the Kasbah Telouet, where we find the Glaoui Palace and in which its exterior, in a nearly dilapidated state, contrasts with the richness of its interior decoration, similar to that of the Alhambra in Granada.

Then we travel along one of the highest highways in North Africa features the breath-taking scenery of the Atlas Mountains and takes to the Tizi n’Tichka Mountain Pass.

Arrival at Marrakech. End of tour.
