Day 3
Rabat · Meknes · Fez

Free time for lunch (on behalf of the traveler).

Head to Fez. Dinner included.

Day 4
Fez

Breakfast. Today we see the oldest of the imperial cities, starting with a panoramic visit from the lookout, where we see both the modern and the old city. We continue visiting the modern area, appreciating places such as the gates of the Royal Palace, the Bab Jeloud or the Jewish Quarter.

Once the contemporary zone is finished, we walk the medina of Fez on foot, like a journey through time. We see the ancient madrassa of Bou Inania, as well as the districts of the different artisans: goldsmiths, carpenters, loom workers, ending in the famous tanneries.

Afternoon free. Dinner included.

Day 5
Fez · Ifrane · Erg Chebbi

Breakfast. On this day the country’s contrasts are evident, since in the course of a single morning we go from the snowy white highlands to the orangish hue of the dunes of the Sahara.

We make our first stop in Ifrane, where we see why this city is known as the Moroccan Switzerland. Optional lunch en route and head to Merzouga.

Camel ride to the air-conditioned tent camp in Erg Chebbi, where our luggage has been transported in a 4×4 vehicle. We enjoy a starry night and an authentic Berber dinner.

Day 6
Erg Chebbi · Todra · Dades

Early risers can enjoy the desert sunrise. After breakfast we head back to the vehicle.

Head to the Dades Valley, on the way we tour the Palm Grove and the Todgha Gorges, a more than 300 meter high gorge wall created over time by natural erosion.

Arrival at the accommodations in Dades and dinner.

Day 7
Dades · Aït Ben Haddou · Marrakech

Breakfast. Today’s first stop is the Dadès Gorges, also known as Monkey Fingers or Atlas Brain, an abrupt landscape filled with impressive rock formations and ravines.

Next we see the Valley of the Roses, a beautiful place known for the cultivation and manufacture of the rose of Damascus.

Then we continue through the Palm Grove of Skoura, with its charming little nooks, its small villages, and its orchards and olive groves hidden under the palm trees. Here we visit the well-preserved Kasbah Amridil, where ancient tools of daily life dating back hundreds of centuries are on display.

Later we visit Aït Ben Haddou, a World Heritage site and one of the best ksars because of its exceptional state of conservation and being a setting for famous films (Gladiator, The Mummy and Babel among others). Head to Marrakech.

Day 8
Marrakech

Breakfast. Beginning of the visit to Marrakech, starting with the outside of the Koutoubia Mosque. Later, we arrive at the semi-old part of the city. We visit the Ben Youssef Madrasa, an ancient Islamic school where elegance and attention to detail go hand in hand.

Then we take a walking tour through the medina, the old part of the city. We see firsthand the different neighborhoods of artisans, as well as the souks and markets that the medina houses. We also visit the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the main focus of the city and where acrobats, storytellers, juice vendors, musicians and other merchants and artists transform this space into a living spectacle.

Finally we discover Le Jardin Secret, a city oasis that features both an Islamic garden and an exotic garden with over 80 diverse plant species.

Afternoon free.

Day 9
Marrakech

Breakfast. Free day with the possibility of optional excursions (see here the excursions available from Marrakech).
